About Me
I have an MA in Core Process Psychotherapy from the Karuna Institute.
I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and am accredited with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also a member of the Association of Core Process Psychotherapists. I am insured and in regular supervision.
I am committed to abiding by the codes of ethics of the UKCP and the BACP.
I have had a private client practice since 2012 and have worked with clients in a community psychotherapy and counselling service in Hackney. I also have experience of seeing clients in an addiction counselling service and in a project for the homeless in South London.
I have trained in mindfulness with the Breathworks organisation and have run courses for people with health conditions.
I have completed an accredited training In Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing with EMDR Works. I am a member of the EMDR Association for UK and Ireland.
Earlier in life I studied at Oxford and Sussex Universities and previously worked in finance in the City. I have had a Buddhist spiritual practice since the 1990s and spent some years working at a local buddhist centre.
My work with clients is, I believe, supported by my own spiritual and therapeutic journey.
